Hello there. Welcome to BestCoffeeMaker.co.uk. I originally got the idea for this site when a friend asked my advice about which coffee machine I thought she should buy. She said that because there is such a huge array of coffee makers on the market these days she was getting very confused with all the jargon and  felt at a loss as to where to start.  I am a researcher by trade so I started looking into it for her. I work for a very well known newspaper and most of what I research is quite dry –mainly business and finance stuff – but I enjoy what I do and I do tend to bring my work home with me in that I do extensive research before committing to buying anything myself. And once I have chosen something I then do more extensive research to make sure I get it at the best possible price. Anyway, this site is a work in progress so check back regularly for updates and drop me a line if there is a particular coffee machine that you would like me to review.
